17’ Coleman with Ram-X layup.  The economy wilderness tripper with 3’ beam, 740lb capacity, and rated for a 5hp outboard motor.  The "Orange Blossom Special" or "Haw River Special"?


16’ Adventure 16 by Mad River.  This comfortable three-seater has molded seats, six cupholders, three gear trays, vertical fishing rod holders, adjustable padded backrests, padded carry handles, storage pouches, and a tough polyethylene construction.  A wide (37”) and stable canoe (950lbs capacity) that tracks well and can be paddled as a kayak.

14’10” Pathfinder by Old Town.  Flatbottom Royalex layup with no keel and only weighs 57lbs.  Load capacity of 900lbs and 36” width.  This versatile paddling canoe is still made today as the Old Town Camper 15.


14’7” Guide 147 by Old Town Canoes.  This very stable and efficient paddling tandem has comfortable and maintenance-free vinyl contoured seats, stabilizing chines, durable three layer polyethylene construction, 38” beam, and a max load range of 850-900lbs.
